Terms and Conditions

Products and services rendered by ToolSaver are sold under the Terms & Conditions stated herein. No agent or representative is authorized to alter these conditions; any variance thereof must be made in writing and signed by an officer of ToolSaver. These Terms & Conditions are subject to change without notice.

 

REPAIR PRICING

  • Pricing for indexable tool repair is per quotation. Price quoted does not include replacement components unless specifically noted on the order.
  • Rush orders are subject to rush charges (see here)
  • Prices are subject to change without notice.
  • Quotations for repair tools which become forty-five (45) days old may be deleted from the system and the tools disposed of at ToolSaver's discretion.

 

CUSTOM SPECIALS PRICING

  • Pricing for custom built specials (including Versabar®) is per quotation. ToolSaver reserves the right to over ship by 1 piece on custom built orders (exception special carbide shanks).
  • Rush orders are subject to a rush premium as agreed.

 

VERSABAR® PRICING

  • Pricing for Versabar® products and shank retrofits is per online catalog effective at time order placed.
  • Published prices are subject to change without notice.

 

SHIPPING

  • All shipments are F.O.B Dickinson, Texas. Unless otherwise advised, the freight charge (including insurance) will be prepaid and added to customer invoice. Title of ownership passes to customer upon delivery from ToolSaver to carrier.
  • Repair orders will be insured for the value of the invoice (repair charges) unless otherwise advised by customer.
  • All Versabar products and specials will be insured for the value of the invoice.
  • Claims of damaged or lost shipments will be made by the distributor (or end user) to the carrier. ToolSaver must be notified of such claims within three (3) days after receipt. Maintain the damaged goods containers for carrier inspection.

 

CLAIMS

  • Any claims for discrepancies in shipment must be made to ToolSaver immediately upon receipt of merchandise.
  • It is ToolSaver's policy to return all non-repairable tools to the end user, however, ToolSaver is not liable for a non-repairable tool that was lost.
  • In the event of repaired tools damaged or lost in return transit by carrier, customer remains obligated to pay ToolSaver's invoice in full. Customer claims for compensation will be settled with the carrier.
  • ToolSaver shall not be liable to buyer or any other person for special, indirect, incidental, consequential or exemplary losses, damages or expenses, directly or indirectly arising from the sale, handling or use of the products or services or from any other cause relating thereto.

 

LEAD-TIME ESTIMATES

  • ToolSaver uses its best efforts to satisfy customer requests and expectation of delivery. Lead-time quoted is an estimate, and under no circumstances shall ToolSaver be liable for loss of use or for any direct or consequential damages resulting from delay of delivery, regardless of reason.

 

PAYMENT TERMS

  • PayPal and all major credit cards are accepted. PayPal payment and credit card charge will be processed on day of shipment prior to shipment.
  • Terms for accounts with approved credit are 1% 10 days, net 30. The amount of credit line extended is based upon credit worthiness and projected need.
  • Accounts with outstanding invoices forty-five (45) days old (from date of invoice) will be placed on credit hold pending resolution. Orders for Versabar® products will not be entered in the system. Work on in-house orders (repair and specials) will be suspended until the account is brought current. Repeated delinquency in remitting payment will result in permanent suspension of credit. In such case, payment by PayPal or credit card will be required when order is placed.

 

RETURN & CANCELLATION POLICY - REPAIR AND SPECIALS

  • Repair items returned for warranty will be reworked (or credit issued for repair charge) within five (5) days of receipt. Full payment is expected on the original order.
  • All returns are subject to inspection by ToolSaver. All returns must be accompanied by a copy of ToolSaver's invoice.
  • Specials that are cancelled are subject to a cancellation fee, the amount commensurate with work completed at the point of cancellation. This includes engineering time when approval drawing provided by ToolSaver.

 

RETURN & CANCELLATION POLICY - VERSABAR®

ToolSaver will accept the return of any standard Versabar® item, subject to the following conditions:

  • The item must be unused and in the original package.
  • The item is subject to the inspection of ToolSaver.
  • If the reason for the return is the fault of ToolSaver, the restocking charge will be waived.
  • All other returns are subject to a 15% restocking charge.
  • Special items (non-standard) are non-returnable.
  • The value of the item returned will be based upon current pricing.
  • The amount of the return will be credited to customer's account.

 

WARRANTY - REPAIR AND SPECIALS

  • ToolSaver guarantees that custom manufactured tools are free from defects in material and workmanship. ToolSaver makes no guarantee of any specific performance. ToolSaver's sole obligation is limited to repairing, replacing, or issuing credit for (at ToolSaver's option) any custom tool that, upon ToolSaver inspection, is deemed to be defective.
  • ToolSaver guarantees 100% customer satisfaction on all repaired tools. If upon inspection of ToolSaver a repaired tool is deemed defective, Toolsaver's sole obligation is limited to either promptly correcting the defect, or, issuing full credit for the repair charge. Toolsaver is not liable for any consequential loss resulting from lost production.

 

WARRANTY - VERSABAR®

ToolSaver guarantees that Versabar® products are free from defects in material and workmanship. ToolSaver makes no specific guarantee of performance. ToolSaver's sole obligation is limited to replacing the defective item. ToolSaver is not responsible for any consequential loss resulting from loss of production. The warranty does not apply when:

  • The tool has been subjected to misuse, negligence or accident.
  • The tool was not fixed, mounted, or stabilized on the machine in accordance with accepted practice.
  • The tool was subjected to more severe conditions than recommended for the particular tool.
  • The tool was altered in any way so as to, in ToolSaver's opinion, affect its stability or reliability.

 

SAFETY WARNING

  • Grinding produces hazardous dust. To avoid adverse health effects, use adequate ventilation and read material safety data sheet first. Cemented carbide, ceramic cutting tips and cutting tools may chip or fragment in use.
